Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Salem, MA

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
**Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery/Postpartum
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 3 years of experience in labor and delivery
**License:** Active RN License
**Certifications:** BLS, NRP, EFM (every 2 years); ACLS preferred
**Must-Have:**
- Labor and Delivery experience
- Postpartum care skills
- Ability to circulate and provide newborn care
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
**Job Description:**
- Work in a 25-bed Labor & Delivery Unit that includes:
- Labor & Delivery rooms
- Postpartum care
- Newborn nursery
- Operating rooms
- Antepartum and recovery rooms
- Maintain clinician-to-patient ratios of:
- 1:2-3 for evaluations
- 1:1 for active labor, patients receiving magnesium drip, or epidurals
- 1:3-4 for postpartum care
- Provide care for a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care
- No floating required
- Participate in rotating shift schedules, including night calls
- Maintain required certifications and licenses
