Bethel Farms Transportation is seeking an experienced, reliable, and safety-conscious Class A Commercial Driver for our Ft. Pierce location with excellent customer service skills and a valid Class A CDL! You will take pride in your ride with our Bethel Farms fleet! Bethel Farms is a family and privately-owned, leading agricultural and transportation company that grows and transports premium sod/turf grass to Lowes, Home Depot and independent businesses across the State of Florida. Commercial Driver Pay & Benefits:

  • Up to $1,100 to $1,500 weekly salary (paid weekly)

Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport sod pallets and rolls from our Arcadia farm to local retail locations.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Bethel Farms by demonstrating high quality customer service standards for delivery service.
  • Maintain professionalism in appearance, dress, and personal conduct.
  • Load and unload sod pallets and rolls using an off-loader forklift
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip logs and at times HOS logs if necessary.
  • Comply with DOT regulations and company policies and procedures.

  • Drivers must be a minimum of 23 years of age to qualify.
  • Minimum 2-year experience with a class A CDL license.
  • Valid DOT Physical Certification and passing DOT Drug Screen.
  • Workweek: Drivers' workweeks are from Sunday to Saturday and must be prepared to take loads any day of the week, as requested.

Physical Demands of the position: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to strap and tarp loads to trailers. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The selected candidate must pass a DOT drug screen.
