Job Description:
- Work in a Labor and Delivery unit with 11 labor beds, 4 OB evaluation rooms, 2 OB PACUs, and 2 operating rooms.
- Join a team with a staff of 79, providing care during night shifts with 1 Charge Nurse, 10 Staff RNs, and 2 OB Technicians.
- Manage patient ratios including 1 RN for 2 patients or 1 RN for 1 patient when necessary.
- Utilize GE fetal monitoring systems and work with CPN and Meditech EMR systems.
- Perform procedures such as Non-Stress Tests (NSTs), cervical exams, managing labor, and titrating medications, including performing the McRoberts maneuver.
- An ideal candidate thrives in an organized, yet busy environment, and is flexible to float to postpartum-couplets when needed.
- Follow the dress code of hospital infant security scrubs and adhere to unit guidelines and policies available on the intranet.
- Weekend shifts and on-call duties may be required based on unit needs.
