Delivery Driver (Full-Time)
West Michigan Baseball Franchising LLC, a Dippin' Dots franchisee, manages multiple territories across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. As part of the Whitecaps' broader operations at LMCU Ballpark, we are committed to fostering a positive team culture and shared growth.
Under the guidance of the Director of Food and Beverage and Midwest Dippin' Dots Operations Manager, the Delivery Driver will transport and deliver goods to customers accurately and efficiently within assigned territories, including frequent travel across all of Michigan and possibly Indiana.
Key Responsibilities:

• Order Preparation & Delivery: Load orders for transport, delivering goods to customers in Michigan and Indiana.
• Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure vehicles and warehouse equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Package Handling & Sorting: Sort, load, and unload deliveries to ensure proper distribution to designated locations.
• Vehicle Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support business operations.

Type of prior related experience:
Prior customer service experience
Prior delivery driver experience preferred
Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior customer service experience; delivery driver experiences preferred.
• Skills & Abilities: Reliable and responsible, with strong customer service skills. Able to manage goods carefully during transit to prevent damage. Proficient driver who follows all traffic regulations.
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to read and follow instructions.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications & Licenses: Must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements: The position regularly requires the use of hands, reaching, communication, and hearing. Frequent activities include standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
