We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Release Train Engineer to join our team. This role can be based out of our Houston, TX or Pittsburgh, PA offices – Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes.
  2. Assist teams in delivering value and achieving objectives.
  3. Communicate with stakeholders and escalate impediments.
  4. Manage risks and dependencies, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution.
  5. Drive continuous improvement and integration.
  6. Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in SAFe and Agile methodologies.
  7. Manage and optimize program flow, facilitating PI Planning and readiness.
  8. Aggregate Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives.
  9. Track and report status, ensuring value delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
  2. 10-12 years of experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  3. Strong knowledge of Lean-Agile principles, practices, frameworks, and methods.
  4. Understanding of company organizational model, structure, and Agile journey history.
  5. Effective facilitation and teaching methods.
  6. Coaching and mentoring approaches, including the distinction between the two.
  7. Ability to drive decisions and resolve conflicts across multiple parties.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills.
  9. Experience successfully running agile projects of varying size and complexity.
