Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

Location : Frisco, TX

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Shifts Per Week : 3

Scheduled Hours : 36 Hours

Hourly Pay : $32 - $53

Job Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery team. This is a full-time night shift position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, focusing on providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients in labor and provide comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, and post-partum stages
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Administer medications, manage labor progression, and monitor fetal well-being
• Educate and support patients and their families on childbirth, breastfeeding, and post-partum care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols and procedures
• Act as an advocate for patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing concerns
• Participate in shared governance, quality improvement initiatives, and team development

Qualifications :

• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time Labor & Delivery experience
• Current Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
