This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization.ResponsibilitiesThe Delivery Team Lead has the responsibility of managing Geo route deliveries. The primary focus of this role will be leading a team of Geo and FSV drivers to deliver and merchandise orders to key customers in a fast-paced consistently changing environment. This role will also drive onboarding, training, and development for drivers in the Maysville, Ga facility.The Delivery Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of frontline employees to deliver orders to key customers in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment.Manage a group of delivery driversAnswer field customer calls regarding deliveries and ensure 100% customer serviceEnsure store delivery time windows are met dailyWork proactively with sales representatives and warehouse operations to understand the needs of the customers and sales forceCoach, lead and develop drivers to support the sales organization and improve daily productivity via gate-to-gate route rides regularly (ideally 2x/week, minimum)Maintain process improvement to further enhance productivity of deliveriesEnsure compliance of Department of Transportation and PBNA safety standardsConduct team meetings and safety training to ensure that preventive measures are enforcedDemonstrate strong oral, written and interpersonal skillsPossess very strong organizational and prioritizing skillsHave a highly developed sense of urgencyDemonstrated results in improving business performance through leadershipApply knowledge of Geo Delivery to drive safety and productivity.Manage multiple priorities while allocating resources between accounts.Manage and ensure 100% Beacon Insights and DOT compliance with employees.Anticipate potential customer issues; apply contingency planning to avoid customer dissatisfaction.Develop tools and processes to support onboarding, training, and ongoing capability building through Delivery University.Compensation and Benefits:The expected compensation range for this position is between $55,800 - $87,000.Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
