Shuttle Driver

Deery Brothers of West Burlington is looking for a part time shuttle driver for our busy service department. SATURDAYS FROM 7AM-1PM ARE REQUIRED ! You will also work 2 other days a week for a total of approximately 25 hours per week. Great opportunity for retired people. 

Shuttle drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of passengers to and from their destinations. Their responsibilities include:

• Safety Shuttle drivers are responsible for the safety of their passengers and must follow all traffic laws and posted speed limits. They must also inspect their vehicle at the beginning and end of their shift to ensure it is functioning properly.
• Driving Shuttle drivers must be able to safely operate the vehicle and be familiar with Des Moines County. They must also ensure punctual arrival.
• Customer service Shuttle drivers should provide friendly customer service, especially to elderly and disabled customers. They may also need to communicate with service office to report disruptions in service.
• Other responsibilities:
  • Assisting passengers with loading and unloading.
  • Keeping the vehicle clean.
  • Providing information about transportation services.
