Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Charleston, SC

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

**Job Duration:** 8 weeks
**Shift:** Night Shift, 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
**Experience:** 2 years required; first-time travel nurses accepted
**License:** South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN License
**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
**Must-Have:**
- High-risk antepartum experience
- Teaching hospital experience
- Triage and high-risk deliveries experience
- C-section recovery experience
**Job Description:**
- 8-week assignment with a mandatory start date between November 11 - December 11
- No Holiday Request Time Off (RTO); must be willing to work Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Ensuring adherence to 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Will not need to float between similar units or facilities
- Open to accommodating block schedule; requires managerial approval based on unit needs
- Facility operates as a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital, and Magnet Hospital
- Utilizes EPIC charting system
- Required orientation includes 16 non-billable hours
**Additional Notes:**
- During hurricane season (June through November), employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams as needed.
- Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only.
