Forklift Operator - 1st & 2nd shift opportunities

$18-20 per hour

D&G Transportation is an established foodservice carrier, and full service storage facility. We are currently in need of highly motivated forklift operators who are interested in an exciting opportunity to work with our warehouse team.
This position involves working in a temperature controlled warehouse environment where semi-trailers are loaded and unloaded continuously throughout 1st and 2nd shift. Our team members enjoy problem solving and utilize resources to meet the demands that support being a leader in customer service. Team members enjoy working with others by being supportive and flexible. Employees that excel in their role may progress into a team leader position. Primary responsibilities include the following:

• Forklift operation - all new hires receive training and certification
• Material Handling - picking specific lots and building pallets to ship
• Be able to move, locate, relocate, stack and count product
• Interpret bills of lading and be detail oriented. Accuracy is critical
• Lifting and sorting of packages up to 50 lbs.
