This role is accountable for high level liaison work between technology and business units, and must work to resolve dependencies.

About This Role:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and grow assigned team of technology resources supporting our mobile applications
- Meet with direct reports, providing frequent feedback on their overall performance, as well as mentoring and coaching individuals in careers.
- Foster collaborative, encouraging, inclusive and engaged culture.
- Meet regularly with stakeholders to identify needs, gaps, and manage communication.
- Collaborate with leaders across IT and the Business to develop strategies that are aligned to our Strategic Imperatives
- Provide leadership and support for implementations with a full software development lifecycle using DevOps methodologies.
- Lead the Mobile COE, helping enable mobile best practices
- Be on top of the latest and greatest technologies, tools, methodologies, and frameworks for software engineering and engineering management
- Continually improve teams through attracting, retaining, developing, & organizing our talent and capabilities
- Actively manage costs, to include forecasts, projections and support of the overall IT budgeting process
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience with engineering teams
- Strong understanding of web, mobile, and API technologies and development practices
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field Relevant engineering/architecture experience can be substituted for educational experience
- Experience with Front End technologies (eg, React, Angular, Vuejs) Familiarity with Mobile development platforms (eg, iOS, Android, React Native) Knowledge of cloud platforms and microservices architecture
- Experience in financial services or banking technology
