Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Hackensack, NJ

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend required, holidays required.
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery; at least 6 months of L&D travel nurse experience required, 1 year preferred.
**License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
**Certifications:** BLS-AHA required; ACLS, Advanced AWHONN or NCC in electronic fetal monitoring preferred.
**Must-Have:** EPIC experience preferred; Candidate must pass a basic fetal monitoring test during onboarding.
**Job Description:**
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and determine care priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Manage care of patients.
- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
