The delivery technicians are critical customer experience ambassadors supporting the needs of the patients by providing timely delivery of medication and supplies.This Delivery Driver position is Onsite Monday - Friday 11:00a - 8:00pm. Candidate must have clean driving record.• Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits plus, HSA & FSA Savings Accounts• Supplemental Coverage – Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity Insurance• 401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Match• Company paid Life and AD&D Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability• Employee Discounts• Tuition Reimbursement• Paid Time Off & HolidaysResponsibilitiesPlans and completes an efficient delivery or patient’s medication and suppliesLoads delivery vehicle with patient’s medication and supplies scheduled for deliveryDelivers patient’s medication and supplies to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessaryPicks up equipment along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requestedMaintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries madeEnsures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisorMaintains and clean and organized delivery vehicle in accordance with ACHC accreditations standardsAssists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed, as needed and eligible per branch warehouse coordinators criteriaPerforms other related duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent, preferredExcellent customer service orientationAbility to drive safelyAbility to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical mapsAbility to plan delivery routesAbility to maintain basic logs and recordsAbility to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervisionAbility to remain professional and courteous at all timesAbout our Line of BusinessAmerita is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.
