The Commerce Payments organization is a team of highly talented product leaders focused on delivering innovative payment experiences and platforms. We're transforming customer experiences, simplifying the ways we do business, and driving toward product excellence.
As a Vice President Product Delivery Manager for a new payment product you will drive dependency management, coordinate cross-organizational impacts and ensure completion of product/feature delivery. We're looking for someone who is customer obsessed, has a strong passion to lead "start-up" efforts in large companies, and a desire to be on the forefront of digital payments and technology.
Job responsibilities
- Communicate product portfolio's progress and escalate risks to all stakeholders through executive level reporting such as Product Reviews, Executive Management Reviews and Product Cabinets.
- Assess and help manage intake, key dependencies and risks across the product delivery life cycle.
- Partner closely with Technology, Design, and Analytics teams to lead product development efforts, facilitating project meetings and managing project plans.
- Lead Scrum of Scrums, support product pilot set-up and management
- Provides accountability for clean, accurate data into systems of record e.g. Align, JIRA, Product Agility Tool (PAT). Work with Agility Office to scale best practices and standards within the portfolio
- 7+ years of experience in project and/or program management with demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
- Passion for understanding customer needs and demonstrated ability to build digital products
- Ability to think strategically while still being comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
- Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing and driving decisions
- Strong knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
- Bachelors or Masters in Business Management, Computer Science or comparable field of study
- Experience in online payments including digital wallets and money movement
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies.
- Proficiency with collaboration and communication tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Align, JIRA, and Confluence.
