Feel free to enrich both your personal and work life and hop on board!Why you'll love this job​​This job is a member of the Flight Service Team within the Customer Experience Division.Responsible for overseeing the daily Flight Service Training Operation at both FSU and the Flight Academy which includes training programs for Flight Attendants for Continuing Qualification training, aircraft line training as well and Leave of Absence Requalification training. Also responsible for daily instructor team briefings and managing the many facets of our training operations.What you'll doLeads and manages the daily operational delivery of Flight Service TrainingFrontline point of contact for FAs attending training programsConducts daily shift briefings with teamManages daily staffing and coordination with the Training Scheduling TeamManages operational disruptions and off schedule operations around trainingConducts daily checks on all training devicesProvides strategic operational input with Flight Service Training LeadershipMaintains and oversees the Instructor Evaluator HandbookWorks closely with all team members in a positive and professional mannerAbility to work some weekends and evenings throughout the monthAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience​Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experiencePreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceKnowledge of RES, DECS, and LMSPrior instructor experienceKnowledge of the roles and responsibilities of the Flight Service Training Delivery TeamKnowledge of flight attendant legalities and contractual obligations for scheduling removals, adjustments and unexpected operational situationsSkills, Licenses & CertificationsKnowledge of MicroSoft Office to include Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong work ethic and integrityAbility to lead and resolve conflicts within the daily operationAbility to support Flight Service Training initiativesAbility to problem solve and strong logic skillsCritical thinking skillsAbility to multi-taskExcellent conflict management and resolution skillsAbility to follow through and complete projectsWhat you'll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
