As a Full-Time Pharmacy Delivery Driver at A&E Pharmacy, you will work to ensure that all pharmaceutical deliveries are made in a safe, efficient and effective manner from our in-house pharmacy to long-term care senior living sites. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering medications to long-term care facilities while also performing essential computer tasks, including scanning orders and ensuring accuracy prior to delivery.
As a Delivery Driver, You Will Get To:
Safely and efficiently deliver medications to long-term care sites while adhering to safety and traffic regulations.
Utilize pharmacy software to verify and update deliveries, scan medication orders prior to delivery, and to communicate with staff about any discrepancies with pharmacy orders.
Perform other duties around the pharmacy when directed by management.
Shift: 1:00pm to 9:00pm (afternoon/ evening) plus weekends.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: From $18.00 per hour
Required Qualifications:
Must possess a current and valid driver's license
Must possess and maintain a clear driving record
Must be able to communicate in English
Previous experience using basic internet map programs such as Google Maps
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in pharmacy or healthcare is a plus.
Proficient in using computers and pharmacy software.
Must be able to be physically active for entire shift, as well as stand for intermittent periods of time.
Posess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
