Job Title: Forklift Operator/ Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This position involves using forklifts to stock and prepare shipments of drums, tote tanks, bags, supersacks, and cases for external and internal customers. Candidates will prepare outbound shipments, unload inbound shipments, store products in the warehouse, and retrieve products from the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload materials from delivery trucks.
Move materials to and from storage areas and production lines.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of forklift experience
Valid forklift operator certification.
Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks.
Work Environment
Warehouse environment with a team of 6 people. Working hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM.
