Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Hackensack, NJ

Weekly Pay Range - $2270 To $2522

**Shift:** 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, every other weekend required, holidays required, no on-call
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery, EPIC experience preferred, at least 6 months of L&D travel nurse experience required, 1 year preferred
**License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
**Certifications:**
- Required: BLS-AHA
- Preferred: ACLS, Advanced AWOHNN, or NCC in electronic fetal monitoring
**Must-Have:** Either AWOHNN (intermediate or advanced) or NCC in electronic fetal monitoring. Must pass a basic fetal monitoring test during onboarding.
**Job Description:**
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs.
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Manage care of patients.
- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
