This position assists the Delivery Driver deliver draft and package beer, wine, and non-alcoholic products in an assigned geographic area, collects payment and related inventory, and serves as customer liaison.Duties include:-Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; and maintains effective customer relations.-Unloads beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages at customer’s location.-Transports product to customer’s cooler storage area and stacks in designated distribution area.-Stocks and rotates all coolers, warm shelves, and displays at customer's location.-Works all back stock as required by Delivery Supervisor and Account Manager.-Builds displays and marks prices on product when necessary.-Handles product properly to minimize breakage; processes breakage and appropriate write-off documentation when needed.-At end of day, unloads truck at warehouse, checks in product and properly stores close-dated items.-Helps Driver clean the truck weekly and helps perform routine maintenance.-Drives company vehicle including straight tucks when necessary to help run routes.-Operates equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, wheelers and other small tools in a safe and prudent manner.This is a very physical job and requires a great deal of lifting and moving product, including kegs, which can weight over 100 lbs. It's a great work-out! Relevant experience in a warehouse, distribution or retail work setting is a plus. Experience equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.After the successful completion of your 90 day probationary period, you will be offered medical, dental and vision insurance as well as some paid time off!
