Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas is the tenth largest food service distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers.
As a Driver Helper, your goal is to be a local Route Driver. The program requires up to 1 year as a Driver Helper, assisting with the delivery of up to 1,400 cases by hand daily. We will help you prepare for your Class A CDL. Once your Class A CDL is obtained, you will be promoted to Student Driver where you will learn how to drive our state-of-the-art trucks for up to 6 months. After advancing to Route Driver, build a career at Labatt as we promote from within.
The schedule is Monday - Friday, with dispatch times between 3:00 am and 5:00 am.
Labatt wants its Commissioned drivers to have the safest fleet of trucks available. Trucks are equipped with the latest suite of radar and safety technology on the market, such as: adaptive braking and collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All our trucks are new and with automatic transmissions that will help with a smooth ride every day.
