ROLE OBJECTIVE

As a Digital Delivery Manager, you will be working with senior delivery managers, ensuring the seamless delivery of projects within the public sector, adhering to the Government Digital Service (GDS) service manual. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic team delivering high-impact solutions that meet the highest standards of government service. You may be required to travel to client sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Team Building and Management: Working in high-performing teams, fostering motivation, collaboration, and productivity. Ensure teams are motivated, collaborating effectively, and delivering quality results.
  2. Removing Blockers & RAID Management: Identify and overcome blockers to keep the team on track for successful project delivery. Owning and maintaining the project RAID log.
  3. GDS Service Manual Adherence: Ensure all projects strictly adhere to the Government Digital Service (GDS) service manual. Implement and maintain practices that align with GDS requirements and standards.
  4. Agile and Lean Practices: Apply Agile and Lean practices to optimise delivery. Provide support in applying the most appropriate Agile and Lean tools and techniques.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring transparency. Facilitate active and reactive communication between technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years project/delivery manager experience within the IT sector or related industry.
  • Experience working with the Government Digital Service (GDS) service manual.
  • You are passionate about digital.
  • You take pride in your work.
  • You work well within a team and independently.

NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE

  • Agile knowledge, with experience tailoring processes to meet required standards.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with service designers, user researchers, and developers.
  • Strong background in stakeholder management.
