Fri (weekends as needed by management)Compensation:This position is a piece rate position and is paid $0.52 per mile completed, with average earnings ranging from $70k - $100k a year, guaranteed minimum wage laws apply. Fill out / turn in all required logs at the end of shift. Comply with all Fleet Safety policies and DOT regulations.Deliver the proper amount of feed in the right bins on the correct farm as directed on the feed delivery ticket. Leave delivery ticket on farm. Report any feed spills to dispatch. Understand and follow all APF / NAE Process Verified procedures, And Organic Program.Keep interior of truck and windows clean.Report any malfunctions on the truck; bring to shop for repairs as needed.Avoid damages to bins, bin lids, lanes, or any other property on farms or elsewhere. Report these and any accident immediately.Report any hydraulic oil or diesel fuel spills immediately. Use spill kit in truck to contain or clean up as best possibleMinimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience RequirementsCDL Class

Experience PreferredTwo years of commercial driving experience, or completion of Perdue in-company driver s training program. Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsExposed to seasonal weather temperatures, and climate, significant amounts of airborne dust.In a stationary or moving position on a wet or moist, or dry or dusty, or dirty, or greasy floor with metal or plastic grating surface. Longest time in a single interval is 4 hours. Must have the ability to climb stairs, upon equipment, tractor and trailer, catwalks and work from various ladders. Noise exposure level of >110 dB. Light intensity range of <50 ft to 100 ft. candles. Bending, twisting, lifting, reaching, sitting, and grasping varies in repetitions, distance, degrees, angle, weight, height, longest interval of time, objects grasped and body positions depends upon the task being performed and/ or the hand tools being used. Must be able to lift and control weights up to 10 pounds. Must be able to bend down and maintain a kneeling position. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions. Exposure to <50ppm of chlorinated water, >5 PPM of ammonia vapors, caustic detergents, lubricating oils and other chemicals found in a live poultry processing operation.May be required to wear disposable coveralls and disposable footwear covering for bio-security purposes.Personal protective equipment /devices as required by Perdue.
