Sanitation Worker / Forklift Experience required

Atwork Personnel has an immediate temp to hire production sanitation opening for a production facility in Joplin for 1st shift.
Pay - $14.25/hr - for 1st shift
Shift - Monday - Friday -
7: 30-4: 00 Mon-Thur; 5: 30-11: 30 Friday
As the sanitation operator, you will be responsible for janitorial and sanitation of production equipment.
Duties:
- Perform sanitation duties in a warehouse or food processing environment
- Clean and sanitize equipment, surfaces, and work areas according to established protocols
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and operating cleaning equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with sanitation standards
- Dispose of waste and debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, preferably in a food production or processing setting
- Must be capable of working at elevated heights
- Must be able to adapt to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Must be able to stand and walk during shift
- Must have forklift experience
- Must have steel toe or composite toe shoes
- Must be ok with cleaning in confined spaces once you go perm
- Reliable transportation
- Stable work history
- Must be able to speak and read and understand English
- Previous manufacturing/production cleaning experience preferred.
