Position  - Registered Nurse (RN- L&D)- Labor & Delivery

Location  - White Plains, NY

Shift - Nights

Expected Hours  - 34.5 hours a week (12 hours a day, 3 shifts a week)

Duration  - 13 weeks (extension available)

Pay Details:  $2850 -$3012/week for 34.5 hours for travelers and $70/hour - $75/hour for a local candidate

Job Overview

As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to expectant mothers during the childbirth process. Your expertise and compassion will be essential in ensuring the well-being of both mother and baby.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of newborns and provide immediate care to both mother and baby
• Monitor the progress of labor and vital signs of mother and baby
• Administer medications and pain management techniques as needed
• Educate new mothers on postpartum care and breastfeeding techniques
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe delivery process
