Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Neptune, NJ

Weekly Pay Range - $2253 To $2504

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend required, 3 out of 6 holidays required, voluntary on-call
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Must have relevant experience in Labor and Delivery
License: State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required
Certifications: BLS-AHA required; ACLS, Advanced AWHONN, or EFM preferred
Must-Have: LDRP training, including OR circulation for C-sections, baby care, and management of Magnesium Sulfate patients
Job Description:
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans through initial and ongoing assessments
- Initiate assessment based on patient needs, medical diagnosis, and functional health framework
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
- Manage patient care
- Document care based on standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
- Advocate for evidence-based practice standards
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
