Summary:
The Inventory Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our inventory and material counts. This position will require the daily operation of a counterbalance forklift as well as an order-picker. Daily tasks include cycle counting (and re-counting) of inventory and tracking through the use of a scanner. Basic email and excel spreadsheets will be used. The Inventory Auditor will maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.
Primary Job Duties:
- Operates a counterbalance and order-picker forklift.
- Counts inventory on a scheduled time cycle.
- Re-counts inventory as needed.
- Records all inventory counts on a hand held scanner
- Answers emails and track inventory counts on a spreadsheet
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Works efficiently to achieve or exceed performance targets for velocity, quality and cost.
- Understands and follows all ISO and 5S initiatives.
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.
- Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures and reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- (Preferred Experience) Minimum of two years’ experience in third-party logistics (3PL) environment.
- Previous experience operating power industrial truck. Ability to obtain certification upon hire.
