The Bus Driver will operate buses for scheduled runs in the pick up and delivery of students to and from school, mornings and afternoons, and co-curricular and other school activity trips.Reports to and evaluated by: Transportation Supervisor or DesigneeRESPONSIBILITIESDrive buses on regularly scheduled routes and on field trips.May fuel and clean buses, and perform minor mechanical and safety checks and preventative maintenance.Maintain safety control over passengers.Participate in bus driver training courses established by the Superintendent of Public Instruction.Participate in drug and alcohol testing as required by law and District policy.Perform related additional duties as may be required or assigned.QUALIFICATIONSMust be qualified school bus driver, and: (after training)Possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.Possess Class B commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement.
