POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Enterprise Delivery is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of enterprise projects while ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives. This role requires strong leadership and project management expertise with a proven track record of leading and managing an enterprise steering committee driven operating model. The Director will build and lead a team that will coordinate project teams working in a functional organizational structure to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Requirements
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the enterprise delivery function, aligning with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams. Ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain strategic and execution plans and roadmaps.
  • Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, technical leads, and other delivery personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage the project portfolio, setting project priorities, prioritizing by value creation, and allocating resources to ensure the program/project work can be implemented successfully.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of enterprise projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources across projects. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure the right mix of skills and expertise is available for each project.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve delivery processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. Implement best practices and frameworks to standardize delivery approaches.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. Ensure projects are delivered within financial targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded. Drive customer satisfaction and act as an escalation point for client concerns.
  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies. Identify and manage risks associated with project delivery.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of projects, including key metrics, financial performance, and risks. Utilize data and analytics to drive decision making and continuous improvement.
MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in enterprise project delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity of enterprise technology solutions, including software development, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Client Focus: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in budgeting, financial management, and cost control within a project delivery context.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Note: The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range & represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity & location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials & experience of the candidate; & other conditions of employment.
