Mandatory overtime may be required, based on production requirements.Why it feels good to work here:We are a growing organization, with a need for your ideas, creativity, and desire to have a direct impact on our collective success.Your ideas will be heard, and you WILL have an impact on the way we do business.Our operating schedule and paid time off allow for work-life balance.The facility is clean, bright, organized and state-of-the-art.Responsibilities:Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including always wearing the required PPE.Promote a safe work environment through adherence to OSHA regulations as well as company standards.Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places.Locating, moving, stacking, and tracking stock of materials and products for storage or shipmentStaging materials for pre-shipmentManually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallet, skids, and platforms, from forklift or other lifting devices or other transportation vehicles.Deliver and remove materials for internal operating stations.Interacting with outside driversPosition forklift or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.Operate manual and power pallet jacks.Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied gas tank.Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.Maintain accurate records.Perform general clean up tasks to keep work areas clean and free of excess debris.Other tasks and projects as needed.Requirements:Previous forklift or powered equipment experienceForklift certification a plus, you will be required to pass a (re-)certification class.Warehouse and inventory management knowledgeHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredStrong attention to detailAbility to work well in a team environment.Good communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondences such as packing and shipping documents.Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds unassisted.Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening as well as agree to random drug screenings during full term of employment.If you meet th qualifications above and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
