Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Templeton, CA

Weekly Pay Range - $2467 To $2741

**Shift:** Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in specialty required; first-time travelers are welcome
**License:** Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
**Certifications:**
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
**Must-Have:**
- Experience with Cerner
- Compliance with required vaccinations, including COVID-19 vaccine and booster
**Job Description:**
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation and analyze the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues.
- Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes, implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes and identify outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation.
- Collaborate with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.
- Provide learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provide health information to patients, families, and the treatment team.
- Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Adhere to organizational requirements, including vaccination policies.
