POSITION SUMMARY
As an Evening Warehouse/ Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth functioning of warehouse operations. Your responsibilities include preparing and completing inbound and outbound shipments and providing vital support to the supply chain by collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving household goods and products. Operating technical equipment, maximizing loading for efficient logistics, and supporting various warehouse functions are essential aspects of this role to ensure the optimal operation of the business.
Reports To: Operations General Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Including but not limited to the following:
- Keep packing materials and equipment clean and well organized.
- Assist with the loading/unloading of household/office goods to/from vehicles/containers.
- Check all goods against the inventory/packing list and ensure accurate and safe storage.
- Provide paperwork for each storage location to the relevant staff member.
- Supervise safe loading and unloading of containers, maintaining accurate records.
- Sort waste material for regular collection, ensuring cleanliness in the yard and on trucks.
- Safely operate forklifts, adhering to safety regulations and recording/reporting accidents.
- Ensure that all accidents are recorded and reported.
- Stay informed about industry, environmental, and quality developments affecting the company's services.
- Keep the warehouse clean and neat, and report safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to departmental and relevant procedures while meeting all quality standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and perform any other duties as requested by the Company.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to successfully obtain a TSA / STA approval
- Obtain a Measure master license within the first 30 days in the position
- Forklift certified
- Requires driver's license and clean driver's history
- Ability to follow directions and exercise sound judgment and decision-making

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, crawl, sit, talk, move about, hear, and speak. May be required to work in restricted spaces and/or under difficult lighting and access conditions. Noise levels may be high when operating power equipment. Employees may be exposed to outside weather conditions when transporting materials. The employee must be able to frequently lift up to 100 pounds and ask for assistance in lifting items that are bulky or excessively heavy or appear to be beyond the employee's capability. The employee is required to properly use such safety equipment as appropriate to the work to prevent injury to themselves or others.
