Job Title: Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health
Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need
Job Duration: 14 weeks
Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Experience: 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Must-Have: ACLS certification
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive care in a Labor and Delivery setting.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant guidelines and hospital policies for patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in continuous learning and development opportunities.
- Actively engage in high-risk labor and delivery scenarios.
- Prioritize patient safety and support during the birthing process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Over five years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
- High-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years.
