Description
The CDL City Driver/Forklift Operator makes local pickups utilizing tractor trailer, dry vans, reefers, and tankers. Also spots trailers, unloads tankers, and operates a forklift to support production. This is a part-time position that reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Monday through Friday - 20 hours/week
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pickup local loads and spot trailers of raw materials to support production
• Unload bulk tankers of ingredients outside - utilizing valves, pumps, and hoses
• Maintain clean vehicle and work areas
• Report any errors or problems immediately and effectively
• Accurately complete and document the company's standard operating procedures (SOP)
• Accurately record hours worked and driver log sheets
• Adhere to quality and safety standards
• Other duties and projects as assigned - varies daily based on production and warehouse needs

• Class A CDL and tanker endorsement required
• Valid DOT medical card
• Driving experience preferred
• Ability to read and write English to understand instructions and prioritize assignments
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Cooperation: Ability to work alone driving, as a team member in the warehouse, or both in the same shift
• Reasoning : Ability to understand flow of materials through a production and warehouse facility, both physically and in the system, and the impacts from any deviation of procedure. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
