Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Redwood City, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience:
- Minimum 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor & Delivery.
- Preferred: Five (5) plus years of recent experience, and one (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
License:
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- ACLS
Must-Have:
- Winter Plan Need
Job Description:
- Provide nursing care and support for women during labor and childbirth.
- Monitor the health of mother and baby throughout the delivery process.
- Administer medications and start IVs as needed.
- Guide mothers and families through the process and offer support and education.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills in high-stress situations.
- Stay current with best practices in labor and delivery care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- High-risk OB experience is preferred.
