Western Wisconsin Health is looking for a casual Transportation Driver that will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients from their home to Western Wisconsin Health (Baldwin, Roberts and Spring Valley locations). All of this is done to support the organization's mission while living our values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Obtain patient routing schedule from Patient Access.
  • Provide safe transportation to and from WWH locations with patients and/or items.
  • Coordinate travel route to minimize transportation time and maximize efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Patient Access changes that may occur throughout the day.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate courteous, professional, understanding and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, staff, visitors, physicians and others.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, this includes but is not limited to, monitoring fluid levels (gas, coolant levels, engine oil, transmission fluid, washer and brake fluid); tire pressure; vacuum/cleaning of the inside; exterior car wash; and arranging for regular maintenance through the Patient Access Supervisor.
  • Demonstrate awareness, understanding and respect of cultural diversity and patients of all ages and socioeconomic groups.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous patient transport service experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information.
  • Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills.
