Job Responsibilities
Performs pre-trip inspection before each trip, verifying that the bus is in safe working order. Make sure that student-athletes are loaded properly and secured appropriately according to state and federal regulations. Obeys all traffic signals and highway regulations that govern the operation of school buses. Perform post trip inspections and reports any mechanical problems immediately to appropriate personnel.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Necessary license and school bus passenger endorsement.
Preferred Qualifications
The minimum as listed and one (1) year experience driving a bus.
