About The Role
As a Bilingual Forklift Trainer, you'll be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to ensure the safe and proficient operation of forklifts within our organization. You'll play a crucial role in equipping our workforce with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate various types and models of forklifts efficiently.
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Key Responsibilities:
  • Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions on forklift operation both to English and Spanish speaking employees, covering a range of forklift types and models.
  • Skills Assessment: Assess trainees' proficiency in forklift operation through practical demonstrations and written assessments.
  • Safety Training: Emphasize safety protocols, hazard awareness, and best practices specific to forklift operation to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and trainee performance evaluations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to forklift operation training, and incorporate new techniques or materials into training programs as needed.

About You
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience as a forklift operator or trainer in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment is required.
  • Certification: Possession of a valid forklift operator certification and instructor qualification is preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Teaching Ability: Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate trainees.
  • Safety Focus: Deep understanding of safety regulations and practices related to forklift operation, with a commitment to promoting a culture of safety.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt training methods and materials to meet the needs of different learning styles and skill levels.
  • Organization: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to maintain organized training records and documentation
