Material Handler/ Forklift Drivers - Shipping and Receiving Department

Operate single and double forks with pallets and load trucksAbility to inspect trucks prior to loadingExcellent safety record and safe forklift practicesAbility to scan, read orders and communicate with truck driversExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to drive Roll Clamp Truck (C Clamp type) to unload rolls of large rolls of paperAbility to unload totes of glue, boxes, poly wrap, pallets, etc.Ability to inspect product and scanAbility to inspect trucks prior to unloadingSafe Driving record*Preferred experience / background: *Forklift Certification by TTC PRIOR to driving internallyExtremely high attention to detailAbility to count and track productAbility to keep up with production to eliminate line stoppages due to a lack of materialsAbility to keep area clean and organized through the shiftAbility to maintain a 0 accident driving record with lift trucks* Working environment: *This is an indoor non-climate-controlled manufacturing facilityCan wear PPE safety shoes and glasses* Physical ability and demand: *Must be able to lift, sit, stand or walk for long period of times. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a sedentary or movement type work.**Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience required Shift: Full Time / Days / Varied schedule/ Potential of 12 hour shifts / Work weekends as needed Pay Details: $37,440 annuallyBackground Requirements:** Candidates must pass a drug screen.Due to the nature of employer's business, company policy requires that candidates having criminal background will not be considered for employment.
