CDL A Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage and fuel usage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a safe driving environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 6 months of driving experience, preferably in a delivery or transportation role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, as required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

(No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years)

Salary info:

$26 - $28 / hr
