OverviewThe Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transport of Sharp Business Systems products to local customer base. This customer service focused position is often the first impression of the Sharp Business Systems team to meet internal and external customer needs and expectations.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the secure and accurate loading of products for transportation to customer locations in a courteous, professional, and polite mannerInstallation and basic key-op training of equipment at customer locationFrequent customer service interaction for basic equipment questionsAssists with warehouse and setup shop duties as neededResponsible for keeping accurate and complete delivery documentation and paperwork validation including serial numbers, equipment IDS and meter counts for proper distributionBasic troubleshooting of potential issues in the field that would need to be relayed to the Service team for follow upResponsible for keeping company vehicles cleaned and well-maintainedAssist as needed and follow a daily delivery schedule and timely communication and updates from the fieldFrequent in field internal communication with Service and Operations team to ensure time commitments are metOther duties as assignedQualificationsValid driver’s license and clean recordAbility to use delivery equipment including dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks and lift gates in a safe mannerForklift experience preferredStrong interpersonal and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on customer service skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent educationPrevious experience in a warehouse environment a plusAbility to drive at minimum, a 15’ foot box truckFamiliarity with all local roadways and the immediate regional areaABOUT US: Sharp Business SystemsSharp Business Systems (SBS) is a direct sales division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, the U.S. based subsidiary of Japan's Sharp Corporation. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location.
