The Opportunity

  • Solution Delivery Architect at a growth-oriented energy company
  • Be the key business contact on architecture roadmap, design and sustainment for our commodity trading value stream
  • Reporting to the Director, Hydrocarbon Supply Chain, you will provide design and support for Par Pacific's OTC and energy commodities commercial business applications environment

Key activities include:

  • Design, develop, modify, and maintain .NET applications
  • Leverage knowledge of downstream petroleum and hydrocarbon supply chain to develop solutions that streamline operations and enhance efficiency
  • Manage integrations between SAP systems and other systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and process alignment
  • Create and maintain SharePoint sites to support project documentation, team collaboration, and information management.
  • Manage development and maintenance of websites to support business needs
  • Utilize SQL for database management, query development, and data analysis to support application functionality and business intelligence
  • Process architect ownership for Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) solutions Implementation and integration

Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years' experience and exposure with .NET framework and development tools
  • Strong skills in SQL database queries, data management, and reporting
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with the downstream petroleum and hydrocarbon supply chain processes
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A collaborative, team player approach along with the ability to work independently
  • Experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems is a plus
  • Proficiency in integrating SAP systems with other platforms, including OneSTSI
  • Experience in SharePoint development and management
  • Ability to develop and maintain websites to support business needs
  • Knowledge of Fiori applications and implementation is optional but preferred
  • Proven experience in .NET development and relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in the technologies and platforms ownership management

Our Refineries and Logistics Operations
