Job Requirements / Description
Common duties include the following:
• Driving Long distance or regional routes depending on situations
• Following all applicable traffic safety and FMCSA compliance rules
• Securing and balancing cargo well as monitoring cargo based on its particular situation
• Maintaining logs that meet federal and state hours of service (HOS) requirements
• Ensuring the Vehicle's mechanical issues are fixed before driving and checking issues en route and after a trip by conducting pre and post-trip inspections and en route checks.

- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
- Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
- Timely reporting of defects, accidents, and violations
- Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
- Effective communication including professional interaction with customers
- Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports
- Recording cargo deliveries
- Verifying loads for accuracy
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Safety First Attitude, With a Proven Driving Record
- A clean driving record or no major moving violations
- One or more years of tractor-trailer driving experience within the last year (up to two weeks of fully paid on-job training available)
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
- The ability to use road maps and GPS devices.
