The biggest challenges of this CDL-A/-B Truck Driver role are the physical demands and driving in/dealing with the New England elements. This position would be a great building block for you and your family at a well-established and successful organization.JOB PURPOSEDrivers drive, control, and maintain trucks equipped with dump body to transport and dump materials needed for assignments in a safe, efficient manner. Drivers will work in a fast-paced, physically-intense environment. Safety is a top priority for Drivers and must have knowledge of safe operation, rules of the road, and abide by DOT safety requirements. Drivers report directly to the Foreman.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPhysical Labor at underground utility construction and maintenance projectsTransport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, or bituminous paving materialsPerforms daily inspection on equipment for issues and/or deficienciesCompletes inspection paperwork daily and notifies the Foreman of any issues/defectsWhen not driving, will assist crew as neededAdheres to all DOT safety requirementsPerforms other duties as assignedPosition RequirementsCERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONSValid Commercial Driver's License Class A/Class-BDOT Medical Examiners CertificateOSHA 10Salary Negotiable.Req Number CON-24-00043Location New BedfordEOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
