Strategic Transformation – Manager
This position could be located in NY, NC.
EY is the only professional services firm with a separate business unit ("FSO") that is dedicated to the financial services marketplace. Your key responsibilities:
- Engage directly with client stakeholders and executives to help define their business transformation vision, strategy, and roadmap, with supporting business case.
- Analyze existing platforms, tools, and processes in the client's current operating model, and recommend innovative, implementable solutions as appropriate based on the business needs.
- Plan and facilitate client workshops around their transformation vision, scope and challenges to execution.
- Assess client operating models, identifying gaps, and making recommendations for future improvement.
- Generate new business opportunities. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks.
- Demonstrate direct experience in program management including: planning, scheduling, resource management, status reporting, monitoring and controlling, program data analytics/metrics, delivery optimization, closing, etc.
- Lead the growth of the practice by sharing knowledge and experience and development of engagement tools, enablers and other knowledge assets to build capability for the practice.
- You will lead and collaborate with other ST team members and stakeholders, including other members of the Strategy & Business Transformation family. You must be willing to take smart risks and champion new ideas.
To qualify for the role you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Risk Management or other related business management degree.
- A minimum of five years of post-Bachelor's work experience (or three years for a Master's degree); three or more years must relate to business strategy, transformation, organizational design and/or other related business management experience.
- A minimum of five years of experience working in the financial services industry or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company; preferably with a strong consulting background in banking, asset management, capital markets or insurance.
- The ability to run workshops with clients to understand needs, articulate vision, and help design strategies and experiences that meet their vision and needs.
- Experience in the development of executive presentations and deliverables, comfortable carrying out detailed analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to identify and present key themes and trends in a highly consumable format.
- A passion for strategy and innovation, including research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.
- Experience leading transformative programs that are large scale, global portfolio driven, multi-work stream following PM methodologies including agile with a focus on the following:
- C-Level executive relationships

- Conflict resolution and consensus building
- Proven delivery skills including the ability to scope/size a project; staff a team with the appropriate skill set; provide subject matter direction and guidance to a team.
- Ability to identify opportunities and help generate follow-on work during client engagements by understanding a range services and offerings and coordinating with personnel in other service lines to help sell integrated solutions that meet client needs.
- Experience in creating points of view on relevant industry trends, solutions, methodologies, and analytical frameworks and tools.

What we offer:
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $127,100 to $233,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $152,500 to $264,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
