Organization: Critical Care Transport

Job Summary: Are you passionate about providing specialized care to critically ill patients in a dynamic and cutting-edge environment? Join our team at LifeFlight's Critical Care Ground Team, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients in our state-of-the-art Critical Care Ambulance.

Position Shift: 36 hrs/wk; Full-Time Night Shift, Three (3) 12-hour shifts

Compensation: $10,000 signing bonus for eligible new hires; Relocation stipend available based on mileage.

Position Qualifications

Required

• Registered Nurse License Required; must be eligible for compact license KY/TN
• 3 years relevant RN experience (critical care preferred)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• NRP (can be obtained during orientation)
• TNCC (equivalent advanced trauma certification) must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced certification must be obtained (CTRN or CFRN)
• EMT/AEMT certification required within one year of hire - KY & TN

Preferred

• Advanced Nursing Certification (CTRN or CFRN)
• NIMS IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800
• Previous transport experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
• Analyzes comprehensive information pertinent to the patient's care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continually utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient's progress towards goals and applies appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
