Forklift operator/Material Handler

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.
Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from semi trucks and storage areas, Pull orders and palletize.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products as needed such as 10 foot fiber optic reels, maintain a clean and organized work area and yard.
• Collaborate with team members to meet goals and deadlines.
• Get acclimated on how to do Counter sales

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and order picking processes.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols, particularly OSHA regulations.
• Basic math skills for accurate inventory management.
• A valid forklift operator certification is highly desirable.
