Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. Join the team transforming the future of public safety technology. Be a valued member of a professional software development team building and maintaining a suite of software products to help first responders improve efficiency and effectiveness. The qualified candidate will be part of Peraton's First Responder Solution's team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful on-time, on-budget delivery of the Peraton's First Responder Solution. You will lead the agile transformation of various teams working on multiple products and for many customers. Multiple project managers and team leaders will report to you and will seek your direction to manage their respective teams. The teams include design, development, quality assurance, scrum, technical support, documentation, configurations management and training teams.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

Manage the overall delivery of the software products to multiple customers
• Work with other managers to define, present, implement and monitor industry best practices
• Assist in developing and implementing the overall product and delivery visions
• Closely coordinate with the executive leadership and keep them informed about the progress on multiple delivery commitments
• Help Peraton strategize to grow their market share of the solution
• Lead agile transformation of various delivery teams
• Create a strong development engine that is continuously delivering and improving
• Build a strong leadership team that helps our resources grow in their careers
• Transform the team culture that enables high performance across the delivery organization

Job Location: Hybrid work model - Will prefer candidates who can work out of our Peraton Reston VA office 2 - 3 days per week

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience
• 8-10 Years of experience in managing software development teams in agile based delivery model
• 12-15 Years of experience leading or work in various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Certified Scum Master (CSM) certification or similar certification
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or related field

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
