Our Brand Ambassadors (drivers)work a 5-day work week – starting time between 12:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m using a lift-gate. Our routes cover a large footprint! We have Regional routes ranging from 1 to 3 day layovers to states such as: Colorado, Iowa, Nebraska, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, and Kansas. Our Brand Ambassadors utilize a handheld (POD), lift gate trailers, automatic tractors, dollies, and hand jacks.Let’s talk benefits…Highly competitive medical/prescription drug and dental starts date of hireCompetitive vision plans effective first of the month following date of hireCompetitive life, short- and long-term disability insurance plans effective 30 days after hirePaid vacation, discretionary time, sick time, and holiday pay401K with company matching$200 provided for spring and winter uniforms every yearEmployee discount programCareer advancement availableEmployee driven committees and employee eventsResponsibilitiesOperates a tractor trailer truck that transports product to and from specified destinations.Conduct a proper pre-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.Ensures delivery-related paperwork is in order before departing the Distribution Center or transportation hub.Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of products.Unloads cargo and delivers via a two-wheeler hand truck and/or pallet jack in a safe manner into store locations.Maintains proper logs of travel and product according to Federal, State and DOT regulations.Maintains contact with NDCP’s Member Services team to communicate any problems or delays with deliveries.Ensures the cleanliness and presentation of the interior of the truck cab, as well as the removal of delivery-related trash at the store and production kitchen (i.e., shrink wrap, cardboard, crates and pallets).Conduct a proper post-trip inspection to ensure equipment is in good working order to minimize delays the following day.
