Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Boston, MA

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12-hour shifts, Day/Night rotation. Every other weekend and holiday required.
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 recent years of Labor and Delivery RN experience and OR circulator experience. Experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred.
**License:** Registered Nurse License
**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course, preferably AWHONN.
**Must-Have:**
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips.
- Must be able to pass a telemetry test on the first day with 85% or above.
**Job Description:**
- Work in a unit with 9 labor rooms, 2 operating and recovery rooms, and 5 triage rooms.
- Manage approximately 2600 deliveries annually.
- Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
- Collaborate with medical team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Maintain patient safety and ensure a clean environment.
- Educate patients and families regarding labor and delivery processes and postnatal care.
- Share and apply best practices in obstetric nursing care.
- Ensure all required certifications are maintained and up to date throughout the assignment.
