Job Details

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the OB/GYN/NUR setting.
Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies.
Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Participates in performance improvement activities.

Job Requirements

Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and his/her clinical condition.
Ability to assess neonate at delivery and perform neonatal resuscitation.
Ability to competently care for laboring patients, including vaginal exams, assessing pain levels and utilizing pain management techniques.
Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on infants and adults and reassessments as per policy.
Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
